Position Overview
The Bridal Stylist Sales Lead is a leadership-driven role responsible for overseeing the bridal sales team while delivering an elevated, luxury bridal experience. This position serves as the bridge between management and stylists—driving sales performance, coaching staff, communicating goals, and ensuring every bride receives exceptional service from appointment to purchase.
This role combines hands-on bridal styling, sales leadership, and team management, with a strong focus on meeting and exceeding store sales goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership & Performance
- Lead the bridal sales team to consistently meet or exceed individual and store sales goals
- Track daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance and communicate results to the team
- Motivate stylists through coaching, goal-setting, and accountability
- Assist in closing sales and handling high-value or complex bridal appointments
- Ensure strong conversion rates, average order value, and add-on sales (veils, accessories, alterations, etc.)
Team Communication & Management
- Serve as the main point of communication between management and the bridal sales team
- Clearly communicate daily goals, promotions, expectations, and store priorities
- Lead pre-shift huddles and regular team meetings
- Provide ongoing training and coaching to bridal stylists
- Support onboarding and mentoring of new team members
- Address performance issues professionally and proactively
Client Experience & Bridal Styling
- Deliver a luxury, personalized bridal experience for every bride
- Set the standard for styling, appointment flow, and customer service
- Handle escalated client concerns with professionalism and care
- Ensure appointment schedules are optimized and properly managed
Store Operations & Standards
- Ensure bridal floor is always organized, clean, and visually appealing
- Maintain sample gown accuracy, tagging, and rack organization
- Support inventory awareness and communicate needs to management
- Enforce store policies, dress code, and sales procedures
- Open and/or close the store as needed
Qualifications
- 2+ years of bridal, formalwear, or high-end retail sales experience (leadership preferred)
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate a sales team
- Strong sales skills with confidence closing high-ticket purchases
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized, proactive, and results-driven
- Passion for bridal, fashion, and customer experience
- Ability to work weekends and peak bridal seasons
- Saturdays are mandatory
